Crossy Road is a free video game app that was designed with an arcade style and modeled after Frogger, one of the most popular video games of all time. In this game, you control a small animal as it tries to cross a number of streets filled with dangerous vehicles and other pitfalls.

Playing the game is relatively simple, but it can be a bit maddening from time to time. You move your creature by tapping the screen to make it jump, and you can move it side to side by swiping your finger in the direction you want it to move. The goal of the game is to guide your animal as long as you can without the animal being hit by anything dangerous.

Not only are there dangers in the road, but you'll also find the occasional coin that can be saved to purchase extra animals that you can use to guide across the streets. There's no real difference in the animals except for their aesthetics.

The graphics in this game are quite stunning. It has a crisp, bright 3D platform that looks a lot like Minecraft, but the point of view is isometric and from far above the city.
